They have some songs that sound like they would indeed be quite fun to play, but I'm honestly very new to transcribing music, and this kind is quite complex, so I don't even have a clue where to begin! I really want to be able to play this stuff though which I can't do if I don't know the notes! So some help would be appreicated!

Get a Tascam guitar trainer (http://www.tascam.com/Products/cdgt1mkii.html).  It allows you to hear your instrument and the CD in your headphones.  You can slow down the music without affecting the key, or change the key without affecting the speed.  It makes it a lot easier to figure out music.  It's a little pricey (but in music, what isn't?!) but it's worth it if you need to learn a lot of music, especially in a prog cover band (there's never any tabs for prog!).

You don't need to transcribe something in order to play it. Just listen and play along ... it's a very good exercise for your ears (and the part of the brain which decodes the audio).Smile

My tip would be: Get the DVD - so you can watch them playing too ... Smile
