I suggest to make some updates related to the tracks titles and lines-up. When a track title appears in English it doesn't mean it has to be replaced by the Czech one -- it just may be separated by a slash -- Czech title / English title. I don’t think, however, that the same thing is right with regard to the albums titles (in my opinion, an album title should appear as it was released, not translated). So, here we are: 1. Meditace (Supraphon 1970) Tracks: 1. Paměť Lásky
1994 re-issue has 7 bonus tracks: 11. 1996 re-issue has 7 bonus tracks: 11. Sen není věčný 2. Coniunctio (s Jiřím Stivínem a skupinou Jazz Q Praha, Supraphon 1970, Supraphon/Artia 1970) (i.e. with Jiří Stivín and Jazz Q Praha group) Tracks: 1. Coniunctio I Line-up: - Vlado Čech / drums Tracks: 1. 2. White Hair
Tracks: 1. Má hra 1997 release bonus tracks: 6. Line-up: - Radim Hladík / guitars
Tracks: 1. Nová syntéza 2 1997 release bonus tracks: 5. Line-up: - Laco Deczi / trumpet
Tracks: 1. Boty 2000 release bonus tracks: 6. Armagedon (1973 Amiga) Line-up: - Radim Hladík / guitars 7. Svitanie (1077) Tracks: 1. Vysoká stolička, dlhý popol Line-up: - Vlado Čech / drums, percussion
Tracks: 1. Za krokem žen Line-up: - Vlado Čech / drums, percussion
Tracks: 1. Třiatřicet Line-up: - Radim Hladík / guitars |

I'm on it .....
First problem .... the band's website link is broken .... I found this .... http://eerock.boom.ru/Blue_Effect/Blue_Effect.html ..... is it suitable? 1. Meditace (Supraphon 1970) Track list updated. I have not changed the album title yet because .... do we really need 2 separate entries? Is the 'international' version a re-recording (ie vocals) or is it merely re-packaged? [...... see point 'd' below .... ] 2. Coniunctio Done. Have changed the title to .... Coniunctio (s Jiřím Stivínem a skupinou Jazz Q Praha) .... is that right? 3. See point 'd' below 4. Nová syntéza (1971) Done 5. Nová syntéza 2 (1974) Done 6. Modrý efekt a Radim Hladík (Supraphon 1975) (“a” = “and” in Czech) Done inc title 7. Svitanie (1077) Done .... didn't know you could get LPs in 1077 8. Svět hledačů (Panton 1979) (do we need an English translation of the title?) Done .... & translation removed from title 9. 33 (Supraphon 1981) (if you want to leave the title in letters (as it appears currently), replace it with the diacriticised one) Done ... title in the picture is just in numbers so that is what I have made it - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - a. website now updated to http://eerock.boom.ru/Blue_Effect/Blue_Effect.html b. Nová Syntéza (& 2) title updated to .... Modrý Efekt & Jazzový orchestr Čs. rozhlasu: Nová Syntéza (& 2) c. tilde removed from Svitanie track 4 d. Meditace .... have changed the title to Meditace (also named "Kingdom of Life" for export version) .... if we get any further details we can think again Edited by Joolz - February 07 2007 at 14:50 |

I noticed that the link doesn't work -- wanted to say that after the updates. The information I prepared is taken from the site you've mentioned. I'm not sure it can be called "the official website", but it's better then nothing. The text is in Russian, but all the information is in Czech, and it seems rather authentical.
Edit: The text in Russian is the short biography of the group. The release info and band's members' names are in Czech. Edited by Fassbinder - February 07 2007 at 13:58 |

1. and 3. are (almost) similar. If it is the mere re-package of the Czech version then there is no need for the additional entry. But I don't know anything about the language in the record. You may also see my doubts in the initial post.
2. It may stay this way. Or it may be written "Blue Effect & Jazz Q Praha" (as stated in the newly found website).

Both Nova Synteza albums titles -- the new site states: Modrý Efekt & Jazzový orchestr Čs. rozhlasu.

Done .... didn't know you could get LPs in 1077 " In the XI c. the Czechs were far ahead of the rest of Europe...

7. Svitanie -- track 4. -- you may also replace the tilde by the (more conventional) slash...

Great job, Joolz!
...For the moment, I have no more updates on Czech groups in PA (there are not many).
Have you seen my last post in "Flamengo" thread?

I've found two more band's websites.
This one: http://www.blueeffect.wz.cz/ claims itself unofficial, but this: http://www.blueeffect.cz/ seems to be exactly what we need.
Take a look and say what do you think.
The current link is not so much band's website, it's more a page with a short biography (in Russian, which means -- not available for most users) and a discography.
