Tinyfish are not listed on this site. Should they be? Are they prog?

They are according to themselves.

I'm not very impressed I must add, but it sounds friendly and sweet.

when deciding on sub-genre i would call it neo prog, in the Marillion Hogarth style, just a little more stripped down.

As one of the band is a member of this esteemed forum, perhaps they should.

I only have their summer promo disc, but they have definitely progtendencies! What I've heard wasn't too complex, perhaps a somewhat more stripped-down approach to prog. I would definitely welcome them to the Archives though!

p.s. nice interview as well Wink

No this is me but I'll get the guys to send something over to you matey.  As for the bundles of fivers, would a pint or two suffice? Wink

I know I sound like a stuck record but we should really organise another prog curry soon as well.

Speak to you soon.

A couple of beers will do nicely mate.  We've missed the anniversary of the first prog curry but another one in February would go down well with the couple of beers.

I bought the selftitled album yesterday from mr Jim himself and just finished listening to it. Sounds surprisingly great! (Better than the songs on both MySpace and the summer promo. I'd love to review both.. so get on with the addition Wink.

Hi Tristan, thanks for that.

We appreciate your efforts on our behalf matey. Let us know if you need any more information or contact us on: [email protected]

We hope your head isn't too sore from the Marillion Weekend.  Dead Jim tells us that an excellent time was had by all. He also mentioned that he got to spend some time on stage with the band too. He's been a fan of the band since '83 so that was a real big buzz for him.

Cheers

Tinyfish.

Haha, my head is not too sore... it's my throat... I still haven't recovered completely. Wink
I didn't really meet the band, but then again, I could do that after or before regular gigs, this was more of a fan-meetup. 'twas great to see everyone again. Really funny to see all the nationalities together Tongue

Cheers,

Tristan
