I just saw this name in allmusic and I can't help asking myself "¿what (the hell) is this?". ¿Anybody know something about it?.

Well, I believe he had a sort of one, The English Rock Ensemble with whom he recorded No Earthly Connection and was inherited by his son.
Rick has played with a new lineup of this band in Buenos Aires and Lima.

Maybe, in Progressiveworld.net they are credited as "Rick Wakeman's band" :
Also the New English Rock Ensemble featured Tony Fernandez and Ashley Holt, two artists linked to Rick Wakeman for decades.
Until I know, they have only released albums for Rick Wakeman and his son plus Liztomania, so it may be....but Yes is also a chance. or The Strawbs (If anybody appart from us remembered them as they deserve )
BTW: That interrogation marks in English are ruining my Spanish We use them upside down at the beginning and close it at the end as well as the exclamation bands (¿? and ¡!) but since I use Internet so much and mainly in English, I'm forgetting to use them correctly in Cervantes language.
