Far Corner is quite good (need to absorb some more time).
Looking forward to Larval as well. On Wayside you can also find Faust - In Autumn 3 x CD/1 x DVD box set: ""Krautrock legends Faust are back with an unbelievable 4 disc live set. Recorded last year in the UK, it features many enduring Faust classics performed live for the very first time after all these years. The first two CDs in the set consist of an ideal recording of a complete and unedited show from the Carling Academy, Newcastle. The 3rd CD is a collection of tracks culled from other dates on the tour. The 4th disc is a DVD compiling the finest footage from the tour, which has been hailed as their best tour since Faust’s reformation in 1992. This fantastic box set really captures a legendary band at the absolute top of their game and truly on fire! Includes a 32 page booklet and liner notes from Faust frontman Jean-Herve Peron." They don't tell you that the sound is like an official bootleg, but I am telling you that!" And also - Green Milk From The Planet Orange - You Take Me To The World: "Fourth release from everyone's favorite very young Japanese noise/psych extravaganza experience! "Two recordings from summer 2004 Portland, OR. almost representing a transition between "He's Crying Look" and "City Calls Revolution". Here we have another chance meeting of the Green Milk trio hanging with the Zig Zag man and smoking out two improvised, one take, no over dubs, recorded straight to glorious analog tape jams. “KillMeKillMeKillMe” leans toward the Rock In Opposition/Avant Rock space (fans of La STPO take notice). Speaking of space, “Away” continues GMftPO’s exploration with space, and the sounds in between said space until the THC kicks in and this my friend is where the psych fades in, blows smoke in your face and slowly drifts away." |

Oh! I didn't knew Green Milk from Planet Orange was releasing a new album. Great news as well. I have City Calls a Revolution and I quite enjoyed it although I need some time for the 40 minute epic to really sink in. I'm very curious as to what will they make up next.
2007 is shaping up to be one heck of a year for prog. |
