good idea? bad idea?
Wont ask the question with a scriptual thumping. But
is it OK to box with God?
Scripture I think shows its OK, but in moral rebellion
its a hopeless fight. When in obedience you may
hold your own.
My experience is "Knock and the door shall be open,
seek and ye shall find", the opposite being see if I
can kick the door down, not seeking Im going to
prove it wrong. God of course owes us nothing on
our terms as he created us. On the other hand he is
love and vengence, hmmm what a combo.
If I am living in rebellion morally God dont seem to
be around, circumstances seem to ungulf me. On
the other hand if I am truly looking for his guidance
he shows me examples that he is there and always
has been.
If you aint right you might as well box your shadow
cause you do have any power in your punch. On the
other hand if you do your part, he will do his and
ultimately you will learn to love his wisdom and his
control of your life. You dont have to get it all right but
if you try, try, try again the rewards are better than the
chains that intangle you when you dont.

Got you man. It's not so stupid though, but when you're arguing religion there are so many points which can be easily turned around going both ways. After that damn Zeppelin thing I'm done with religion for a while. Oh but wait, I have a religion course this semester!

Boxing God? I dunno.... what's his reach like, what are his stats? Is Don King gonna promote? What's the purse? And what are we gonna call the fight.... rumble in the jungle's been done, thriller in manilla, uhhhh duke-out with a deity?
and anyway, if the guy's ominpresent I woulnd't stand much of a chance, he'd pummel me from every side?
Then again, maybe he'd turn the other cheek and I could plant one on him
