Too much time spent on the forum, too many statements I should have thought twice about before posting. I'm gonna take a step back for a while, feeling a little burned out and foolish for yelling into the wind so much lately.
I may very well be back sooner or later, but in the meantime anyone who wants to contact me can do so via email (or even the forum's private message...I get email notifications). Enjoy the show, don't take it too seriously, and take some time out to stare at yourself in the mirror until you can see the monkey. 
Maybe I'll actually accomplish something worthwhile for once...it could happen!

Best idea I've heard in ages. This place is getting dull.Too many polls,too many over-sensitive egos, no humour!
I'll not be missed anyway ( )
A few weeks break is in order-my wife is getting seriously pissed off with me always on my PC talking to "strange Americans". Hopefully the restructure will be over when I return.

An exodus? Hope it's temporary. At the very least, I hope all of you will monitor the site and see what's going on.
It is admittedly unfortunate the degree to which the site "devolved" recently, primarily with respect to the debate over Radiohead. Indeed, the timing is particularly unfortunate, since the re-vamp of the site - including new policies, etc. that might have prevented, or at least minimized the ugliness - was already in the works, with a planned "roll-out" sometime in February.
Anyway, despite what Reed Lover thinks, all of you will be missed for whatever time you are "on sabbatical." For thosemof you who are collaborators, please monitor the collaborators' forums, since final decision-making for the site re-vamp will be done from there.
Peace to all. Enjoy your "time off."
