Does anyone out there in the UK like PFM? If so, how on earth do we go about getting them to come back to this country? I'd love to see them live again and I posed the question via the PFM website a couple of months ago but got no response.
Surely I'm not the only one who'd welcome them returning to our shores? |

Not a fan as such, but would happily relive some memories from...well a long time ago. So would happily go along and see them.

mmmm, some 3 weeks have elapsed and only 2 replies. Think I'll abandon plans for petitioning the Italian government to get PFM over here!
If anyone hears any news of them visiting the UK though please let me know. Their official website seems woefully out of date

Must confess that's on my shopping list. I realise that all my exposure to pre- Chocolate Kings material has been via live albums and bootlegs. A situation that needs remdying. Hope the bank manager agrees. Spent a small fortune on stuff I've heard about since joining PA!

Hope that's sorted now. Enjoy the CD and have a good one over the festive break

zedkatz,
Rest assured that PFM is well-known and thought of highly by Prog Rock fans the world over, the UK included. If you are up for a late Christmas present to yourself (or a very early present for Christmas 2007!) then I can strongly recommend the DVD of their 2002 live set in Japan - it's an absolute joy to watch and listen to. Top notch production and sound quality. Live In Japan 2002 (DVD) |

And indeed I ordered it from an Italian online retailer just before Christmas to go alongside the CD of Live in Japan that I already had. Also got Passpartu and Mauro Pagani's first solo album at the same time. |

Latest album in 2006 Stati di immaginazione. Excellent album, check out Dracula (2005) as well. But, the classic stuff is their early albums sung in Italian.

Got "Statti" and "Dracula". Statti is very definitely something of a return to form but try as I might I've yet to get into "Dracula". I hear rumours (I think I saw it when I translated the Italian Wikipedia article on PFM) that another album is planned for this year, based on classical works. Having said that, I used Google's automatic page translator and the resulting translation wasn't all that clear.
