It's been bothering me for some time. Tell me, why can't I fix my own mistake in an album info I myself added (only album type and releases information)?
I'm sorry but it seems a bit absurd to me.
If you don't want to allow everybody to change album info then maybe there's a way to enable only the person who added the particular album to do it?

That could be just it. Most likely the "ban" on some album infos is completely general, excluding therefore the one who made the infos in the first place.

Some changes would be comfortable, (I myself goofed up several times)

you'll have to think however of not putting the Errors Editors Team to retirement. LOL

If there is any info that you need to correct on an album you added, make a thread in the Report Errors and Omissions Here section and the Errors & Omissions guys will take care of it for you.
