Yeah, really.  If fashion in 2112 means guys wearing ladies nightgowns, I'll be glad I'm dead.  Wink

Kimonos are not that comfortable. I've always wondered why men can't use wider things, like skirts. I mean, women can use both, pants and skirts. Though many of my female friends choose pants over skirts because skirts are kimono - like (meaning: using skirt = being tied up, unable to freely move, much like kimonos are supposed to work), I would certainly enjoy some air bellow. This is a cultural issue very much alike the thing with the hair (girls = long hair, boys = short; don't ask why, just genuflect). Plus, man clothes are so boring. I think I'm gonna have to assault mr. Bowie in order to get some proper clothing.

Many years ago when I wanted to put together a Rush tribute band called "Sweet Jamaican Pipe Dream", I envisioned the band to wear kimonos just like Alex, Ged and Neil on 2112. LOL I think the band would have been the only ones in on the joke.Tongue

On Halloween 1987 the band that I played with did a show and we all dressed up. The drummer dressed up as David Sylvian, The Bass player dressed up as a gas station attendant, And I wore a kimono. The band and I were the only ones who got the joke. Confused  I thought it was funny though.
