That's a bit unfair, he did well with Snowman, and some others too

To name a few singers no-one has mentioned before, but which are among my favourite vocalists:
Peter Blegvad (Slap Happy, Henry Cow, solo albums). Not only great vocals, but one of the best lyricists in prog.
Robert Calvert (Hawkwind, British Amon Düül and solo; also guest vocals on Nektar's "Down to Earth" as the ringmaster ). His range is limited, but his sprechgesang and his way of closely missing the correct notes make him unique. One of my absolute favourites. Great lyricist too.
Chris Karrer (Amon Düül 2, Embryo, Utopia). Absolutely unique voice. He also uses some strange techniques for singing at times.
Christian Vander. His falsetto vocals have to be heard to be believed, especially on the first "Offering" album, where he absolutely freaks out with them (he must have had a sore throat afterwards).

To name a few women: Sonja Kristina (Curved Air) and Inga Rumpf (Frumpy, Atlantis). Inga Rumpf is a real shouter. Dagmar Krause has been mentioned already, but the real killer is Anna Meek (Catapilla). She is definitely not everybodies cup of tea though.

BaldJean and I; I am the one in blue.

I LOVE Roger Water's tortured and emotional vocals (on The Wall for example)

But I'm also a great fan of Ian Gillan (Child In Time would be the best example).
Ian Anderson, Greg Lake and Peter Hammill deserve honourable mentions too ^^

My apologies for not knowing all the names, but here goes
The singers who I do know by name
Ian Gillan, Derek Shulman, David Cousins, Peter Gabriel (only if I also consider his solo work), Christian Decamps )gotta get Ange inTongue), Serge Fiori, John Woloschuk (Klaatu).
Then the "nameless" , the singer in these groups
Mars Volta , Le Orme, Osanna.

I only want to be loved for myself, I just don't have the money to pay for it.

Cedric Bixler-Zavala is one of my guilty listening pleasures, yes.
But Jon Anderson, Ian Gillan and the like are still tops in my book!
Beauty will save the world.

Peter Gabriel (goes without saying, of course!)

Also, both Roine Stolt and Hasse Froberg - they compliment each other very well.

Steven Wilson

Fish,

And lately, I've been enjoying Steve Hogarth more and more.

Oh, and Geddy Lee! Couldn't leave the Gedster out. His voice just improves with age.

And all four members of 10cc. (Godley, Creme, Gouldman, Stewart.)
They worked so well together, and each had a distinctive, strong voice separately too!
