Well this whole thing has become very dissapointing.
Although it really is a great idea. I think we should do another one after this, maybe in a slightly different style. for example we can take teh top 10 albums of every genre, and vote on which ones we want to compete, then do the same competition.
And then we can do like 3 more, adn have the winners of all the olympics duke it out in an all comprehensive battle.
wow, i really got carried away here... but it would be a good idea, I think.

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

the next addition will definitely have lots of changes keep in mind the idea is just getting its feet wet, I really just started it becuase I thought it might be interesting, although participation is lacking here towards the end thank you for your input, ideas are always welcome, im a 1 man crew here, so keep that in mind too

Hey Opeth Guitarist, don't despair! I, for myself, have had much fun
with this competition. My problem is that I haven't voted that much
because I haven't heard many of those albums. May be that's the problem
for other people, although it's excellent to see unconventional albums
represented. Not your "everyday" CttE and SEbTP. Perhaps
an answer to the lesser votes in this round is exactly that. These
albums are too well known, that there aren't many surprises to add
excitement. Also, when an album is less known, the people who know it
feel more responsible to support it , as opposed to back CttE up,
because people tend to think: "Someone else will vote for it". Anyway, just a theory.
Also, your comments about the matches would be welcome.

haha, of course, i understand you work alone.
But i hve had an enjoyable time thus far, and for the next one we should try to advertise it more, and get more involvment.
It could prove to be a very helpful and consise thing if we get enough input
keep it going
