WARNING:  The following review contains details about Tool's show, so if you're seeing this tour and you want to be surprised by the set, don't read further.

Nothing like a road trip with old friends to see an amazing concert.  I skipped two days of class and took a 3-hour electronics exam a day early so I could get to this show.  It was worth everything.  I had amazing seats right at the front corner of the stage.

ISIS
Isis once again proved to me what a great band they are.  They came on stage with the sound of feedback slowly rising, and as it reached its peak, they launched into 'So Did We'.  The rest of the setlist looked like this:
Dulcinea
Not in Rivers, but in Drops
Holy Tears
all of which were from the new album.
The band was incredibly tight and they sounded great, even though they're really not made for an arena.  I'd like to see them in a small club somewhere, when they can completely fill the room.  They seemed to get a good response from the crowd too, even though I'm sure most Tool fans were previously unfamiliar with them.

TOOL
When the headliners finally took the stage, the years of waiting were suddenly over for thousands of fans.  Maynard walked out in a cowboy hat and a jacket with 'ATF' in large letters on the back, and said "Round on the ends and high in the middle.... Pay attention, stoners."  As Jones' guitar built up feedback, they began the show with 'Stinkfist', and even added an extra two minutes or so of improv in the middle.  The rest of the set went like this:

The last half of the set was just a string of their longest epics (though I regret the absence of 'Third Eye'), and they were all musically tight, as per usual.

Of course, one of the best features of Tool's live shows is the technical production.  This tour was no exception.  The entire stage was covered in a glossy white surface and there was a 7 foot high wall spanning the back of the stage.  At first, only squares of light were projected onto the stage and the wall (think Michael Jackson's 'Billy Jean' video), but with each song new elements were added to the show.  Videos and psychedelic visuals were projected directly onto the stage, surrounding the band in moving weirdness.  Eventually, moving lights were hoisted up to act as a backdrop to the band, and lasers were bounced from mirrors at the front of the stage to various points around the arena.  It was easily the strangest, most complex visual experience I've ever seen.  I wish I could describe it better, but you need to see it for yourself.

If you're seeing this tour, you're really in for a treat.

	Oh your so lucky you got to see Wings for Marie.. They started playing it only like.. 3 shows after mine oh well it's still a holy Experience either way!
