I have a 6GB player and it's more than enough. My entire collection will never fit on a mobile player ... I know, the drives get bigger and bigger, but so does the audio quality of the files. If I had a 60GB player, I'd use WMA Lossless instead of mp3!

Cool, but I had assumed you could play them gapless anyway? I know I can with my Creative mp3 player (bought it inexpensively in Hong Kong more than year ago).

Lost Chord, you gotta tell us what happens when you get into this guys classroom again. Maybe take the high road; tell him not to feel bad, many great ideas were laughed at.

My iPod Nano is not gapless, but the small gap between songs really
doesn't bother me. If this gapless feature is going to increase the
price I will be considering buying another brand when I need to buy a
new mp3 player.

You should buy another brand anyway - especially if you don't need the proprietary functions (iTunes-DRM). Make sure you buy a player which is compatible with Microsoft-DRM (playsForSure). |

It doesn't cost anything. It was just one of the features in the latest iTunes update (there was some other very cool stuff in it too). |

Hahahaha...I told him, spoke to him a view times already, he simply laughed and apologised and was baffled at the fact that it happened.
My birthday just passed and i decided to spend anything i got on my brand new $350 80GB ipod video! This thing is truly amazing, now that it is gapless
