           In other words, quit the band.   I don't think so, but there are some interesting parallels between Radiohead and Genesis.  Radiohead has released (roughly) the same number of studio albums (as well as one live album) that Genesis had released at the time PG left the band.  In addition, Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood was the first to release a solo album, just like Steve Hackett!!  Of course, Thom is set to release his first, which PG didn't do until after he left, so there's no parallel there.  Still, I've been thinking that some of us may someday look back on the last few years as the Golden Age of Radiohead, just as many of us think of the Gabriel years as Genesis' best.

Good, because other than the band politics, there is no comparison between these two bands (nor of Thom and Peter).

I don't think he's going to leave the band. If he did, it would be the end of Radiohead.
