It seems to have just been UK members who had the problems over the last couple of days.

I live in South West Wales, and have a Broadband Internet connection at home , ISP is BT Broadband, It is sometimes slow with me as well, not always, others wise and most of the time very good speed connection. It's sometimes slow in College as well, but now seems to be good. I reckon a lot of broadband users use the net the same time and this I believe slows it down.

I haven't noticed any problems from home lately. It's slow at work but that's probably down to our rubbish company Internet connection which we've proven to be slower than a dial-up connection.

Things are back to normal for me. Does it help if you switch off the sleeve images Tony?

It's odd,the page produces the band list header and the purple background then just "hangs".Bearing in mind I have a 10 meg connection its not a loading issue. I'm wondering if IE7 is trying to validate every link on the page as part of its in-built "anti-phishing" defences...
