It is perhaps because you have cookies set to not accept. See if the browser is set to accept cookies. (Tools > Options > Coockies)

    Presumably you used IE6 before.

Open up Firefox and click File>Import and you are presented with the option to import bookmarks, data etc from Internet Explorer click "next". Check the boxes "cookies" and "saved passwords" (uncheck the others, but not crucial)then click next.
You should have no problems logging in now.

Have you been using IE and Firefox at the same time?

You need to import cookies again.

It keeps happening to me with Firefox. I use IE7 for browsing everywhere except here. I use Firefox exclusively for PA and the Forum.
