I'm sure there are a lot of Crimheads out there. So pick up one.
I went for CD4, because I enjoy these particular improvisations more.

There are a lot of Crimheads, BUT maybe not so many of them are familiar with this box set? It can be expensive to buy you know!
I have it - as a Xmas pressie - difficult to pick one but if I had to, I'd agree with you and go forCD4.

I voted for 3, I seem to remember that that's the one I've played the most. If I were at home I would look it up, but alas this work thing has me tied up. Anyways all the discs on the box set are really great, but this comes from a big Crimhead.
Discipline is never an end in it self, only a means to an end.

CD 1 will always be my favorite... it has such a great selection of tracks and they are all played wonderfully.

I have the box-set at home for now (on loan from a friend) and although there are repêtition of tracks, it is excellent Not everything is of perfect qualty sound though

The real surprises/gifts are the two versions of Starless with David Cross's violin
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
