I saw the live musical version of The War of the Worlds by Jeff Wayne last night.  I have to say that it was nothing short of amazing.

I'm reading a review right now and it says.....

"The result could have been a progressive rock cliche like Spinal Tap.  Instead it is an awesome spectacle, like having the best multi-media stereo system in your own front room - and playing your favourite album on it."

Did anyone else get to the gig?  Has anyone else seen this tour, or is planning to go?

I would recommend it, it wat totally awesome.  I wish I were going again tonight.
If you don't want to come down......don't go up!!!

It seems they're releasing a DVD of the event later this year... can't wait!!

"After all, it's music what we're talking about here, so there's no best or worst; just what you like and what you don't"

No I missed this. Would have loved to have seen it

I'll have to wait for the DVD.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!
