Is it just me, or do parts of the second track sound like direct references to a bit in The Flower Kings' "Garden Of Dreams"?  The riff sounds the same, just arranged for different instruments...  even the little noodly bit seems like the same noodling.    Anyone else get that from it?

Compare :56 seconds into Attack Of The Monster Briefcase to around 3 minutes into Skipping The Distance...  well, various parts of both, actually, but hey.

The new Tangent album is Roine's fifith or sixth recording in the past year. I'd be amazed if he hasn't played same solo on all of them.

Actually, The Tangent is Andy Tillson's solo project, or started as such.  On this one, Roine did zero writing, just a bit of arranging...  electric guitars, some vocals, and 'unauthorised electric piano'.  So he didn't write the riff into it or anything...

I just found it interesting.
