It's very excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!

Under-estimated album!!!

It's a mix of beatles, early prog, with much english humor.

The tune "Erudite eyes" with the friip mind blowing solo

is incredible.

There's also an alternate version of this album, but with

les good souns.

The Brondesbury Tapes are very good too. A collection of demos and out-takes that went onto become the bulk of The Cheerful Insanity... The icing on the cake though is 2 excellent demos of I Talk to the Wind with Ian McDonald & Judy Dyble on vocals .

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.

yes i agree, but the sound is a little rough
due to the simple Revox recorder used at the time

but i advice more "the cherful..." for a first time

Yes "i talk to the wind" is great!
the pre-"in the court"!

Listening to this CD on headphones, especially Walkman
ones is definately not advised.

I think that Cheerful Insanity is a much over-looked
piece of parochial psych.I think that they may have
been listening to The Small Faces' Ogdens Nut-Gone Flake.

Do 'The Stanley' otherwise I'll thrash you with some rhubarb.
