are air prog?

All I know from them is "Sexy Boy" which I rather liked. They do have a nice, muffled, low-fi retro feel to them. I'll have to check out some more stuff- any specific suggestions?

the albums to go for are The Virgin Suicides and, as
Petra says, 10,000hz Legend.
The latter is their most experimental and features a
guest appearance from the wonderful Beck (whose
last album Sea Change should be on everyone's
list). It's weird, wonderful, in places utterly mad
('Wonder Milky Bitch') but is an album that just
improves with each listen. There's always more to
find in it.
Virgin Suicides is a straighter record but has lots of
Floydian moments. Highly recommended.
Personally, while I loved Moon Safari on its release, I
find it a little trite now, though there are still moments
of magic.
One to avoid is the Everybody Hertz album of remixes
done by DJs, it's crap.
Like Petra, I find their latest Talkie Walkie too much
of a return to the ways of their debut.
I read in an interview that they felt they had gone of
the rails with 10,000hz legend. I wish they'd ride that
train one more time.
They're worth checking out if you want some
ambienty, Floyd meets Jarre meets ELO with a
finely-honed pop sensibility.
And again Petra is right, they're probably too pop for
prog, but I dig em.

I think they clearly take inspiration from prog, but I dont think they can really be classified as such.

I could never get on with 10,000hz legend. I liked Moon Safari, and 'Premiere Symptomes' The latest has been growing on me slowly.
