I play fantasy football, baseball, hockey and basketball on Yahoo. Last year I won championships in football, baseball and basketball for the first time. There was no hockey last year so that blew my "sweep". But I am in 2nd place in a 12 team league in hockey this year. Also just got my draft results for my fantasy baseball league and got a core of starting pitchers and closers to die for.But offensively I didn't do too well. Oh...and my favorite is fantasy football. Edited by TheProgtologist |

As long as I know English foot is that part below in our bodies made to walk, to run, to kick, etc. and ball is something spheric with a constant diameter; so football there's only one. The sport unitedstatians say that's "football" should be called "handoval" or something like it. Only joking pals, I like to watch American football; it is like rugby, a sport played worldwide, including my country, well-known for our classy soccer, ops, I mean football association. |

My comment was intentional but not mean-spirited - I know how the rest of the world feels about our beloved "football" over here. I'm old enough to remember when soccer (er., futbol ) wasn't even played in most public schools in the U.S. (i.e., the 70's). But we sure considered ourselves lucky in my little town to have a kid from Sweden who knew how to kick our football sideways. He gave us a very good placekicker . |

I know it was not mean-spirited (thanx for the new expression I learned ). But why not simply play rugby? The differences could be unified, I guess. The body protection and the forward pass should be great addings to rugby while the dynamics of rugby could be (re)introduced avoiding the game to be centered basically in one man (the QB). BTW, I played rugby in the university (well, at least I tried)... Edited by Atkingani |

Do you mean playing sports in our imagination? in that case no I dont, or you talking about of videogames? in that case yes I do, and in the real life sometimes and also I used to practice martial arts.

It's a game where you pick actual players from real sports teams to form your own 'fantasy' team, then compete with other people who've made up their own teams. Your fantasy team scores points when your players score in their actual real-life games.
Actually, sounds kind of stupid when I explain it like that . Hmmm.... Anyway, here's one I found that really sounds interesting... http://www.dania-jai-alai.com/fanrules.htm Edited by ClemofNazareth |
