I'm trying to figure out how Greg Lake gets his tone. Does anyone know his amp settings or what effects he uses? Sounds simple but I can't get it right. Not too much distortion and kinda warm.

Guitar Geek didn't have anything on Lake. Is their another guitar rig website that's worth-while?

Get yourself a Line 6 Pod XT Pro - I bought one recently and can't get over the mind-bogglingly massive range of sounds you can get from that single box. I'm not saying Greg used one, but I'd bet you could get very close.

I really like Line 6 equipment.

I must stop buying CD's and save for the good stuff.

I found it... close, anyway. Just a GAIN adjustment. Meaty!
