They're wicked! I have a Pod XT Pro and a Bass Pod XT Pro, and almost always seem to use either "Spinal Puppet" or "Du Hast" as my rhythm sound, and find that "Satch Boogie" creates a great clean-lined yet distorted lead sound. I use these sounds almost exclusively on all the tracks I posted at http://www.myspace.com/Certif1ed, but I hardly ever do lead work if I can help it. I'm just not a big fan of "widdley woo". That said, there's a wah-drenched solo of sorts at the end of "Grey" and a load of multitracked lines in "Modern Man" that use "Satch Boogie". The lead in "Industry" is my old Laney amp DI'd - I just couldn't reproduce that sound with the Pod no matter how I tried. "Something Wrong" doesn't have a lead, but I use the Line 6 Clean sound with a Fender Strat instead of my trusty Westone Thunder 1A to get the David Gilmour type sound in the bridge. (plug, plug!!)

I just bought a Line 6 Pod Xt live two days ago off ebay.
After owning a guitarport, and wanting something I can actually haul
around and use to perform, i'm interested in seeing how it turns
out. I've heard nothing but good things and think the guitarport
is awesome, so hopefully I'll be pleasently surprised.
