my band needs some lyrics we tried writing some but we werent very sucsessful so we were hoping that someone on this site could write some for us

You need to kick out the happy people and you band, and replace them with depressed pople with muses. That will do the trick
I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

just walk around and think.  some ideas will come up to  you.  i dont exactly know how these ideas come up but they just do you konw?  give it a try.  dont try to think on it too hard.
