well, it may not work cause other people think its BS so no matter how many people you refer, they'll think what i think, that the link is BS and you won't get the credit for the referel.  plus you have to buy all this other stuff from other places like BMG or sign up for junk like ancestors.com and worry about being charged for "this and that" if you don't cancel for "that and this".  i've been suckered into a similar deal before when i was 14.

I apologize if you really are right, but I'm still not going to follow the link. I'm going to wait until Ipod sound quality improves and it gets cheaper. I'm not going to take any risks.

Good of you to take the trouble to pop by and tell us all about this MRRC.  Please forgive me for being cynical and thinking this might just be more spam. Are you a big fan of prog by the way, I see this was your first post?

The URL in mrrc's original post has a unique referrer ID. If mrrc (or whoever this unique ID refers to) gets enough people signed up and accepting to buy certain items (e.g. an AOL subscription), then he gets a 'free' iPod. It's not quite a pyramid scheme, but has some similarities. If the above-mentioned ID *is* mrrc's, then no wonder he is so enthusiastic: the more of you who sign up using that URL, the more likely he (or referrer 9765732, if they are not one and the same person) is to get a free iPod himself.

Tell you what, give us more details of yourself and where you are at with this and somebody might just beleive you.Otherwise this is just a pirimid scheme and you think we are a bit soft in the head.I would like an IPOD course I would, might even by one when i get back to London, but I know it will cost me at least £200 for the 20GB one, maybe £150+ for 4Gb.
