Poe. I like Lovecraft and some of his stuff is very good. But overall, Poe is the master of this genre of writing. |

Being a Baltimore native I have to go with our native son E.A. Poe. His home isn't too far from where I live,and we have gone and visited his grave numerous times,he's buried here too. |
