Oh, yes - don't forget one of this forum's old guard (not seen for a while, sadly), Alexander; the site's premier authority on the Canterbury scene, and a fey 15 year old Californian (probably 16 now, though - getting on a bit).

Hi, been checking out the actual site for a while now, and finally decided to post on the forums.

I'm 14, and my on-line friend got me into Dream Theater at first which sparked my love for prog music. I was telling my Dad about the music and he really got into it too. It's really cool, I pretty much tell him about new bands I've found, and ask him to check them out to see if he likes them. He buys a lot of used CD's of the bands I like and I just get to mooch off his set.

He really influnced my tastes though. He got me into, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Queen, STP, and others.

Welcome, PT. Glad to see that one of the younger generation is appreciating Progressive Rock and that, in your case, it's rubbing off on the older generation.  I look forward to reading your views on the albums you have heard. And don't forget to browse through the reviews in the ProgArchives and listen to some of the MP3s; there is always some exciting music yet to be discovered.
