It was those very vocals that started me listening to Soft Machine, especially the bit where he goes "it's nice and you can get quite brown". I don't know why but the sound of the words really appealed to me, in fact all of the singing (not all that much,

I think Robert's vocals on Vol. 2 show him at his best; but as much as I think the guy is deserving of respect, I don't enjoy his vocal work on much of his later work [except perhaps some of the Matching Mole stuff]. I agree in finding his vocals on Moon i

The album is absolutely Soft machines best and I love all the songs. Wyatts voice are nice and raspy on "Moon in June" and I totally dig the crazy melody that just donŠt seem to go anywhere. Excellent! Another funny thing is the use of the disto |
