Artist Page

I'd heard of this band before, but until today I hadn't really listened to them. All I can say is this: they're fantastic!

I've only heard Remember Us, the song available on their artist page, but it's 16 minutes long and if it's at all indicitave of how the band sounds, it's safe to say that they're one of the most underrated artists out there. The song features beautiful guitar and mellotron work and is just really well-written. I couldn't help but notice a slight similarity to Mogwai at times, which is definitely a good thing.

Anybody else a fan of this incredible band?

Variations on a Dream is a fantastic album.  Unfortunately their more recent one has gone more in the direction of generic indie rock.

I loved Remember Us and a few other tracks by Pineapple Thief, but the majority of their stuff was unpleasing.

Damn, that's really disappointing. Remember Us was one of the better songs I've heard all year :(.

Variations on a Dream is great, but I'm not sure about their other stuff
