Just a suggestion but putting something at the very beginning of the FAQ, and very obvious, for new users to avoid using phones to use the site until they've explored it on computer first would be very useful - at least in my case.

No clue how long I kept hunting around on my iphone in both Mobile and Classic view feeling like a complete idiot as I could not find what was feeling like an ever elusive alphabetical list of bands that I was sure must exist based on all the discussions on meeting various criteria for inclusion.

Finally, I thought maybe there is more to the computer version and dusted off my laptop which doesn't see much use now that I am retired. I almost came close to a seizure with excitement when right across the top of the main page was the alphabet and access all bands that I'd probably stumbled around for an hour trying to find on my phone while reading through other info.  Even now, going back to my phone I am still not sure how to access the band list. I am sure a link exists somewhere but it isn't obvious and I think it would be one of the most obvious reference links.  I also tried a search for Mobile View and only found one post but it was more on the format and needing to use it in horizontal view.

Anyway, just my two cents.  Otherwise, the site feels like I hit the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  Just hope I live long enough to scratch the surface.

Thanks in advance for considering the suggestion!

Great post, Derek. While I do everything on a desktop and never touch my phone for sometimes days on end, nowadays people do everything on their phones and so that experience should be top of mind for the site.

It's also nice to hear new people are finding the site and considering it a jackpot of good content.

Welcome aboard.

Website is awesome.  And, just so you know, issue might be a bit of user error.  I was sitting outside using the phone again and realized selecting the site logo at the very top took me back to the REAL main home page.  I was using the links in the forum and bouncing back via the menu path that is at the top. But, even still feels like it was more intuitive once I jumped onto the computer versus the initial time spent clicking around on the phone. Or, maybe just easier to see what I was doing!

Anyway, looking forward to killing hours of time on the website instead of on various projects I should be working on.

Take care!
