Anybody heard this album?  I heard about the format (one 80 minute fusion composition alternately structured and improvisational) and was immedeatly interested.

Should I pick it up?

Got a promo of it - most disappointing album of 2005, based on expectations of where the PMG had left off with their excellent Imaginary Day. (I had hoped they would have continued from the music of Roots of Coincidence)

68:10 is the actual running time....and  I must disagree with Dick Heath. I think it's quite enjoyable.

There is an excerpt from it at :

Give it a listen and decide for yourself. I think it's pretty proggy......That's why some of the jazz critics are panning it.

I didn't say it wasn't enjoyable, but against PMG's high standards it is a disappointment - and rightly or wrongly I was expecting it to develop musically from Imaginary Day, and instead  there is a radical change of style: out with the electronica, on with the more serious jazz/than jazz rock music. No longer instantly assessable, rather an album you have to spend time with and  work with to get the enjoyment. To coin a faux scientific phrase: the "enjoyment flux" is much lower here.

Sorry Dick! Didn't mean to misconstrue your intentions or feelings....Poor choice of verbiage on my part...ooops!
