So it's finally time for the pre-Christmas finals of these poll series, which had been going for some weeks now! We have one album for each featured year in the period 2000-2024, or in other words, the twenty-five records that got the most votes! It is a pretty interesting bunch that we've got here so I would be more than curious to see how this one turns out! As for the voting, you know the drill - cast a vote for your favorite and let us know who and why you voted for! Some stats on the final poll as we have a few bands represented several times: 1. Porcupine Tree - 5 featured albums 2. Haken - 4 featured albums 3. Riverside - 4 featured albums 3. Opeth - 3 featured albums 4. Ayreon - 2 featured albums |

No, I know how to behave in the restaurant now, I don't tear at the meat with my hands. If I've become a man of the world somehow, that's not necessarily to say I'm a worldly man.

It's obvious PT will get the most votes, therfore, I'll vote Riverside - ADHD.

^PT will likely get the most with their 5 albums in the poll combined, but they may not win.
I voted for In Absentia. |

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Given that the PT vote will be spread so thinly, I wonder if you'd had had 4 quarter finals with 6 albums in each, then a final.... would the result have been any different?

Porcupine Tree - In Absentia - simply wonderful and there is not one tiny bit of it I don't like.
