I know this is a controversial album, even for the band's fans. The general consensus seems to be that devoting three sides of a double album set to solo material from each bandmember was not the best possible idea after over 3 years without any new studio recordings. Nevertheless, the album was released, it sold well, was the major impetus behind a lengthy (if money-losing) tour, and inspired a follow-up album (Volume Two) of unreleased outtakes. While "Fanfare for the Common Man" and "Pirates" have remained popular to this day, the material on sides 1-3 is rarely (if ever) discussed. Even if this album isn't one of your favorites, which of the solo sides do you like best?

Lake. Hallowed Be Thy Name is an amazing song. C'est la vie transports me to an authentic candle-lit Italian restaurant.
...then Palmer and then Emerson. I live next door to a concert pianist. I don't possess the nerve to share Emerson's concerto with him.

I favor the Lake side too. Not that I dislike the other sides (Pamer's and Emerson's), but I enjoy more the music that Lake composed for this album.

C'est La Vie is a superb love song. So I voted Lake. But the Palmer side with "The Enemy God Dances With The Black Spirits" and "L.A. Nights" (with lead by Joe Walsh) is a lot of fun.
