   FILUM is an instrumental music project from Moscow, first assembled in the fall of 2018 by its leader Alexey SHAPOVALOV. The group existed with varying success as a concert band, giving a few solo concerts and participating in music festivals. The canonical concert line-up included guitarists: Alexey SHAPOVALOV, Anton MASLENNIKOV, bassist Grigory KOZLOV and drummer Valery GUROV. The debut studio album "2Q2Q" was produced and recorded by Alexey SHAPOVALOV on the ruins of the canonical line-up with the involvement of Moscow session jazz musicians.

FILUM's music can be described as a fusion of prog rock and jazz.

Alexey SHAPOVALOV is the author of the music and the leader of the group. An architect by education, he comes from a small Siberian town located far beyond the Urals. He moved to the capital in 2004. Actively involved in the musical life of Moscow since 2007. Participant in the recording of the album.

Grigory KOZLOV — bass guitarist, native of Moscow. In the past, a professional rock musician, a member of several popular Moscow bands in the 90s, including ARCHONTES and MONGOL SHUUDAN. Member of FILUM from 2021 to the present. Participant in the recording of the album.

Anton MASLENNIKOV — guitarist. Programmer by main profession. In FILUM from 2018 to 2022. Since 2022, lives and works in Germany.

Valery GUROV — drummer. Originally from Gzhel. In FILUM from 2018 to 2022. Active participant in many musical groups in Moscow.

Grisha GRISHIN — drummer. Originally from Chelyabinsk. Student. In the group from 2022 to 2023. Participant in the recording of the album.

The debut album "2Q2Q" tells about life within a decade of incessant global crises, into which our civilization was driven by a mystical error of the universe - we found ourselves in a parallel "wrong" time dimension, with alien values and an unpredictable future.
