There is, but they don't have an album titled "Octopus". There's also a British psych band called Octopus with an album titled "Restless Night" (1970). Smile

Gentle Giant's Octopus will get plenty of love and it is one of my favourite Gentle Giant albums (my fourth favourite), but I like various Amplifier music and I am going with a less obvious one, which is David Tibet & Steven Stapleton's Octopus.

Or at least Gentle Giant's would get plenty of love if this board had not slowed down to a crawl. At least I know that it is and has been a much loved album in the Progisphere.

GG
Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

A wise prediction. Gentle Giant has trampled on the opposition in this poll. Smile
