Guitar guitar UK picks Taylor swift 8th best ?

Taylor Swift was voted number 8 on a list of the best guitarists of the last two decades by UK guitar retailer guitarguitar.

A new poll commissioned by the retailer to mark their 20th anniversary celebrates the most inspiring players with a special "Playable" exhibition of guitars.

Despite not being widely recognized for her technical skills, Swift regularly plays guitar on her record-breaking global Eras tour, bringing the six-string to millions of fans around the world.

Based on the list, I would suggest no one who actually plays guitar voted, and the people who did vote evidently listen to nothing but, as Moshkito would call the music, "hits." It's a rather damning look at the sh*t people regularly listen to and consider great or important.

Johnny Greenwood is an interesting player also. Yes Jon5 can make a list. Just odd that Swift is even on a guitar list.

The idea was was most influential and visible as well as excellent and the guitar retailer guitar guitar polled its customers for its public vote. It seems a weird list due to the age of many of these guitarists (but the website addresses it). I think John Frusciante is a wonderful artist and would hardly complain seeing his rating so high in a modern guitarists poll, one just has to look at his solo work, but he has been going for many years. I think his 2004 to 2008 period is great. I checked out plenty of his music after a PAer recommended him to me.

So that’s how we determined the short list, which included both Radiohead guitarists, Brad Paisley, Julien Baker and John 5 amongst others. You people have great taste!

John Mayer Who won the battle for The New Eric Clapton? Was it John Mayer or Joe Bonamassa? Either way, Mayer is a hero to many, and though he is now a PRS man, he has played Strats long enough to warrant this lil’ tribute. As with the other art pieces, there are song lyrics on here as well as tattoo references and a couple of choice Easter eggs. Can you figure them all out?
