This is the 8th not in PA poll and I did 15 for ones in PA.  I take one song from a five period here from 1960 to about now.  I don;t repeat the same artist/band in the same poll, but for the series I do not include more than one track per album.  These polls cover many favourite tracks of mine, and sometimes I choose ones because I feel they work well for the playlist and might not get as much recognition as some others.  Feel free to vote for up to three, or more if you really so so desire.

Bobby Christian "The Call (Theme from Space)" (Strings for a Space Age, 1962)
Quicksilver Messenger Service "Cavalry" (Happy Trails, 1969)
Ennio Morricone "Una donna da ricordare" (Maddalena, 1971)
Joy Division "New Dawn Fades" (Unknown Pleasures, 1979)
Giorgio Moroder "Leopard Tree Dream" (Cat People, 1982)
The Smiths "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out" (The Queen Is Dead, 1986)
The Cardigans "Celia Inside" (Emmerdale, 1994)
Boards of Canada "Everything You Do Is a Balloon" (Boc Maxima, 1996)
Juana Molina - "El perro" (Segundo, 2000)
Isengrind/TwinSisterMoon/Natural Snow Buildings "Spells" (The Snowbringer Cult, 2008)
Joanna Newsom "Have One on Me" (Have One on Me, 2010)
Weyes Blood - "Do You Need My Love" (Front Row Seat to Earth, 2016)
Vanishing Twin "Big Moonlight" (Ookii Gekkou, 2021)

As ever, here is a playlist for the tracks.

Thanks you Trevor and Cristi. All wonderful choices if I do say so myself. That Morricone is such a beautiful piece imo.

In the spirit of, perhaps, pointlessly voting in polls where I of course like all, I choose to go with four different ones.

- Giorgio Moroder "Leopard Tree Dream". I still like this as much as when I was a teenager. One here once ridiculed my Moroder appreciation, but I am unabashedly comfortable loving this. And so I should be. I just watched the movie again recently too.

- Boards of Canada "Everything You Do Is a Balloon". I became huge on Boards of Canada over the last few years, and this is one of my very favourite tracks.

- Joanna Newsom "Have One on Me". She was requested for PA addition at one time, which is when I first started to get to know her music. I really love this song.

- Weyes Blood "Do You Need My Love". Also over recent years I really fell for Weyes Blood. I love this.

I also want to give Juana Molina's "El perro" a vote, but at four I am already over the suggested three.

Not saying others should make these, but I would be very curious with some what their choices would be. I likely will make two more of these as I find putting them together and then listening though the playlists highly enjoyable. And posting it is good for my records, plus I of course do like feedback. Covered so much music, I would hardly expect many to regularly be checking out the playlists and one user intoned that he would rather only one of these came around no more than once every five years.    (belated razzie/raspberry)

I've been hopelessly left behind with the resolution to listen to tracks I don't know by the speed at which you open polls (together with my work commitments Ermm).

I dipped a bit into the playlist and it's hard - I find seven or so candidates for voting. I can boil it down to four (Boards of Canada, Juana Molina, Joanna Newsom, Vanishing Twin). I think Molina is ranked four out of these even though it should be a plus that she's the only artist out of these (and one of three from the list) I hadn't heard of yet. Anyway, life is tough, votes for the other three. (I love Joy Division and it's testimony to the strength of the list that I don't vote for them.)

^ I appreciate you taking the time when you have so little time. This is such an enjoyable exercise for me to do in my spare time (taking a break from TV and other things). My wife has been travelling for work (In San Francisco now), only one of my children still lives at home which is m son who just turned 17, and he is busy with his girlfriend, robotics, composing, IB school, and so I don't spend much time with him. My work is part-time and gets busy in spurts. I have another one ready, and maybe people will return to these later. Before work gets busy as it does often get very busy in Spring/ summer, I would be better off taking care of The Flaming Lips addition (although I had not planned to do it and not all are happy about it, but I feel it definitely ticked off the boxes this evaluation/ suggestion time).

Anyway, one more more for me today, maybe one more tomorrow, an maybe one more some time after that, and that should be it. Of course there is always more music that I would like to share. I might do a topic for myself, a bit like David's lots of good stuff one just to store these lists online in one place. I like this format. Of course I have my playlists at youtube to return to. My one big concern is not wanting to spam the forum or cause other people's topics to fall of the page.

I'd like that. I always find interesting stuff on your lists. So I may go through some of your lists much after you have a poll running.
