I don't like The Pogues at the best of times and the sordid album title put me off including them in the poll. In all honesty, I prefer "In the Navy" by the Village People.  |

just as well since it would have been tough to choose between Clannad and Pogues this year. Two very different albums, but perhaps the pinnacle for Clannad and definitely for the Pogues
