Dream Theater. And the album that track is on is superb. An overlooked gem. It has my favorite ballad of theirs, "Hollow Years".

Falling Into Infinity is great indeed. John Petrucci does some plagiarizing on the last song (rips off Allan Holdsworth In the Dead Of Night solo ), they also rip off the bass line.

Dream Theater gets my vote. I agree with others here that Falling Into Infinity is often overlooked. The mass of my handbook got swallowed by an airport.

Both are good songs and are of similar mood, but I'll take Metallica's "Bleeding Me", I think it's more "substantial".

I never was much into Metallica, but this is quite a good track, actually. Still, I vote for DT; they've done much better, imho, but this is a good track too.
