Easy Once Upon a Time in the West for me. The others you value at five stars are good too (although I wouldn't give them five stars). Charles Bronson was very good at playing in mediocre films; to my knowledge, there is nothing really worthwhile in his filmography after 1968...

"Once Upon a Time in the West" may have been the better western but I believe that "The Magnificent Seven" was more influential to the growing population of young boys in the early 60s (of which I was one). "The Magnificent Seven" an American remake of the movie "Seven Samurai" (one of the best movies ever made IMO). I voted for "The Magnificent Seven".

The Dirty Dozen followed by Great Escape.
I do enjoy Once Upon a Time in the West and Magnificent Seven though

We still have all of Charles Bronson's films with Michael Winner and J. Lee Thompson to look forward to in the upcoming 1970-1979 movies poll. Okay, so they weren't masterpieces, but they were all worthwhile viewing - at least to me anyway. Once Upon a Time in the West: The Final Duel |

Oh yes, Death Wish might be considered OK... And Terence Young's Soleil Rouge/Red Sun an interesting curiosity. But they're not really considered films raising above the average when it comes to artistic/narrative qualities. To me these are part of the Hollywood pulp: sometimes interesting most of the times just average... (which does not mean they can't be enjoyable!)
