Topic: Is Flower kingsī music, generic prog ? Posted: October 13 2005 at 18:37 |
You know?. No matter how much I try searching for the value in The flower kings music, I always end up finding it rather conventional and generic. Am I the only one?

I think your poll is kind of generic ... especially the options.

I didnīt want to have any options.
Also. A classic generic poll is "Best drummer", "Favourite prog metal song", "Favourite singer", "Best album".....
This poll is judging the quality of a very well regarded band. Whereīs the generic point in that ?. Is it too usual in this site?.

dude, the point of a poll is that people vote for something. if you don't want to provide options, then don't create a poll.
BTW: The Flower Kings are diverse. That's something completely different from generic.

I care more about explicit comments as yours right now, than about uncompromised voting. If the moyority of people in this site wrote comments of more than one line, this would be even greater

Then you shouldn't have created a poll, and just created a topic in the Lounge.

It's obvious that the Flower Kings aren't generic ... they are the most diverse band I know. All their albums are different ... Retropolis experiments with Neo-Prog and Avant-Prog, Unfold the Future has many Jazz influences, Space Revolver is just hilarious ...
If you want more in-depth information on what we think about the Flower Kings ... read the reviews!

Mh. If you want to delete this poll is fine with me. I still donīt know the defference between creatiing a poll and a topic.

It would be a proper poll if you had provided the options "Yes" and "No" to your question " Is Flower kingsī music, generic prog?" ... not just "-" and "-".
