Great song writer. I did see him live once. A friend of mine is a big fan so we saw him open for Steely Dan. Really good show. I don't know all his stuff by from the ones I do know:

I kind of jumped off the bus after Get Happy (not that I was riding inside it anyways >> never bought anything by him) I liked some of what I heard on FM like Detectives Pump It Up My Aim Is True (I don't think that's the song's name, though). He completely fell off my radar after those early albums ============== I recently read a story of an unpleasant encounter with him (on PE, I believe) He was drunk and very obnoxious in a US bar, dissing US RnR & being very racist as well (using the N word).... basically believing (and yelling out loud) that only British could write interesting rock music... Rather a strange stance civen his Buddy Holly look and an album that would go out as Nasdhiville country a few years later. .
