Papangu - Holoceno on vinyl! (#18 PA's Top 2021)

   Hey folks! I'm the bass player/producer in Papangu, a zeuhl-metal band from Brazil. Magma, Mastodon, and King Crimson thrown in a blender and steeped in Northeastern Brazilian weather. 

We released our debut LP Holoceno last year to warm reception 
(#18 on ProgArchives' Top Albums of 2021, also on Treble/etc AOTY lists).  

It features Torstein Lofthus (elephant9, SHINING, Red Kite, Hedvig 
Mollestad, etc.) on drums and Benjamin Mekki Wideroe (Seven Impale) on 
tenor saxophone.  

What would have been a digital-only release got a CD version and, now, 
the LP is out through UK label Repose Records. It's in eco-wax, the most
 environmentally friendly way to press vinyl using offshoots of wax that
 would have otherwise gone to waste, but still retaining the same level 
of audio quality. Because of this, each LP is a slightly different 
color. Limited pressing of 500 copies. 

Mastered for vinyl by the legendary James Plotkin.⁣ 

Can be ordered from Bandcamp (ships from the UK), from Repose Records' EU store, from Season of Mist North America (cheap domestic shipping!), or from Repose themselves.
