I know everyone will be upset about Alan White, but Yes were never a big band for me.

Depeche Mode, on the other hand, I love.

So I just wanted to make a RIP for Andrew “Fletch” Fletcher, the member of the band whose musical role was always ambiguous (he never had a songwriting credit and used to joke that he bummed about and turned up for photo shoots and to cash the cheques), but was an integral and important member of the band. Long said to be the glue to hold the band together, and keep the egos of the others in check, as well as looking after the business side of the band that the others were less interested in, he will certainly be missed.

RIP Fletch.

White & Fletcher on the same day

Vangelis in the last week..

Sad times. I'm quite a big fan of the post Vince Clarke era of DM. Violator and Faith & Devotion are classic albums. Great live too.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

Vince Clarke played only on the debut album then left and did Yazoo. Hardly an era...
Black Celebration and Music for the Masses are DM at their most creative IMO.

Yes, that's true of course.

Music for the Masses & Black Celebration are great albums.

I saw Vince Clarke with Erasure back in November. Great show.
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!
