I'm a full-time artist. I make my music with music and writing. For the last handful of years, I've played alone, but I REALLY REALLY miss jamming with other players. I started doing solo projects back in 2005, when I couldn't tolerate musicians who weren't talented enough, or didn't understand and respect other people's time.... The venue near my house is still closed.  A place for bands/artists to play, and also a once/month open mic. COVID or just went out of business, I'm not sure..

I've tried collaborations online with musicians online who live near me, hoping if there's a good connection, maybe do something live. 100% of the handful I've talked to in the last few months have eventually turned to ghosts. Maybe this place makes more sense. I don't want to play live anyway. And now I've gotten used to staying home during the pandemic.

But, I hate getting ahead of myself, because let's just say I've been let down as a musician...... in four continents!

Here's my first (I have four, and then many unfinished stuff which would be perfect for collaboration).

If there's one thing I've always wanted was a woman to sing vocables over the instrumentals, which is all I write. Someone like Clare Torry. I actually did some experiment with her sole vocal on "The Great In The Sky" and put it on top of my music. Sounded pretty good.

I have a home studio, and can move things back and forth (44.1hz, 16-bit, mono)... I simply use musical instruments (standards, and some home-made percussion), and a Tascam DP-01FX. The buttons are getting screwed up, so I've been using Audacity, despite my "I'll never use a computer" mantra (so let's keep that a secret).

Or, if you think you can arrange something - go for it..

Or if you write a review?... I offered my friend for a full review before I released my 4th CD on Amazon, for pay (since she did it for free on other sites), but never got back with me. If I do a fifth one, I'd rather pay someone from here, a true prog-rock fan who is already here.

Of course, I'm already imagining something amazing (because I know there has to be someone who feels the way I do), selling our music online without leaving the couch, all contact-less, and I could buy a better guitar, etc..

Fixed. 🙂
