Twenty years ago I downloaded a psychedelic rock collection from DC++ or Kazaa. And I remember one song that I cant find anywhere. I think the song is from the late 60:s, maybe a concept album, because i remember their songs went in to each other, but I'm not sure. The other songs from this collection that I remember was Buffalo Springfields Expecting to fly and many songs from Fever Tree, for example San Fransisco Girls and Filigree and Shadows. Probably was the collection selfmade by some DC++ or Kazaa user.
The song I remember was a song about clocks, and it probably had a clock ticking in it. I remember some of the lyrics from the chorus, it was something like this "Minutes ticking on the clock, pass my time away, but its ticking never never stops...." I cant find the song when I'm searching for this lyrics on Google.
My memory was that the band were quite good musicians, but I was 15 at the time, so my appreciation for musicianship has developed since then.
And the singer had a quite shrill, high-pitched voice, a bit like Axl Rose.

Maybe this song, "Clock on the Wall". I have this song on some psychedelic mix tapes I made for myself. Not sure where I got it originally, probably from a psych compilation album.

Your description of an early concept album also reminds me of the album, "SF Sorrow" by The Pretty Things.

Or it could be Lothar and the Hand People (this seems to be a compilation though)...

Kind of a long shot, but here is "Time" by The Chambers Brothers:

Thanks for your suggestion.
I thought The Pretty Things was the right answer, because I recognize the album art and the band name. And the songs are quite similar but is unfortunately not right. The singer from the missing song has a sharper and yeller voice.
Even The Chamber Brothers is a great suggestion. The drums sounds similar to the song i remember.
And the guitars in Lothar and The Hand Peoples Machine is almost like what i remember from the song I cant find.
I remember vaguely the melody from the chorus, maybe I can record it and post it.
