The options are clear enough, I think. Yes, I think. But, what do you think (about metal)?

I only love some certain sub-genres of metal music.

^ I changed that option. Made it "a couple of". As the ones above have a very similar option. Sorry Cristi. That was before seeing your comment. Ouch

a couple means "two" actually. LOL
"Several", " a few", "some of them"?

I'm picky. Don't like growls, black or death metal isn't for me, love Dio (my fave metal singer), Rust in Peace is killer, like some of the newer heavy bands like Intervals. But are they metal? Are Sabbath, Zeppelin and Alice Cooper metal?

^ Well, I think metal is the "b*****d child" of rock. And the father (rock) also seems like a thug. The thing is, the child is doing more nasty/extreme things!!! LOL The boundaries between rock and metal are not that clear for me, TBH. I'd say Sabbath and Cooper has/had some "metallic" vibe to them, but Led Zeppelin is solid rock for me no matter how "loud" and "sharp" they are.

Intervals are considered progressive metal.
Black Sabbath are metal.

Alice Cooper  was heavy for the '70s listeners I guess, he did a couple of metal albums in the early 2000s.

Led Zeppelin was proto-metal with their Communication Breakdown. I heard in a documentary that Jimmy Page hated Zeppelin's music being called heavy metal. They had a few heavier songs, but I wouldn't call them metal.

I love metal, spessialy live, it gets my blood yfuled, from doom metal, prog metal stoner art metal, from the djenty astral planes of Tesseract, to the murky bottom Ahab.

My favourite metal band is Deftones

This is a perfect example of a hard rock song with a metal vibe to it.
