Collins once said SR was the most nerve wracking song he had to front on the first post-Gabriel tour due to fans' expectations - imagine his chagrin then, when he stepped out at Hammersmith Odeon & saw Gabriel sitting in the front row......

OUCH!

I first heard suppers ready when I was 11 years old (some 24 years ago OMFG HELP ME LOL)
Anyohow, I always used to love hearing the FRIDAY ROCK SHOW on my personal stereo whilst *cough* going to sleep in my Dorm at boarding school...blah blah blah.. anyhows, first time I heard SUPPERS READY I was blown away...gob-smacked..smacker-O'Blurdied...WIPED OUT.
It is truly awesome...not at all a bunch of non-good-songs-stringed-together.
Then I wandered (when I was a lil older) down the road that led to Hawkwind---and life has never been the same since
But, in between times...
I got SERIOUSLY into YES...got every album up until 90125... spent a HUUUUGE pile of WONGA (cash...yen...spondoolies) buying original releases.
Tales from topographic oceans SHOOOOOOK me.
But...
many other songs and albums since have had the same effect. Thing is... double album... 1 song in 4 movements... maaaan i love it.

PEACE OUT BROTHERS AND SISTERS
Life is a beach...
How come I'm not on it?
